Precision

Locally based, internationally recognised.

Our machining, design and assembly processes are recognised on film/TV sets globally, as we deliver world class products from a place we love to live in.

We are looking to share our passion and expertise with companies sourcing parts and assemblies from Tasmania or Australia.

We have invested in the highest quality Japanese OKUMA CNC mills, German LANG work-holding and Japanese tooling to achieve reliable, high quality production.

Our two MB4000H 4-axis horizontal machining cells enable unattended overnight production, opening up more hours of machine availability, while reducing the labour costs associated with traditional manned CNC machining.
Our 3-axis vertical mill offers the capability to manufacture larger parts.

With our Hexagon coordinate measuring machine we are able to measure complex features as well as three dimensional positional information to qualify our parts. It is immensely useful in validating components being made for assemblies.

Quality is at the core of our business, with a dedicated enterprise resource management (Proshop ERP) system in place for paperless oversight of our production processes.

First article and in process checks, either by multiple operators or utilising the CMM, are captured digitally and can be recalled at any time, also useful for tracking any variation through the batch.

Our quality management system is ISO 9001 certified and embedded into our operational practices.

Our manufacturing processes are capable of handling a wide range of engineering materials, both metals and plastics.

- Aluminium (6000 and 7000 series)
- Machine steel
- Tool steel
- Copper
- Acetyl
and more

We can manufacture parts ranging in size from several millimetres up to a metre in length.

The optimal size for larger production run parts is up to 500mm in any dimensions, which allows use of our two OKUMA MB-4000H horizontal machining centres, and coordinate measuring machine (CMM).
