The battery carrier plates were designed and manufactured to run in smaller batch quantities over a period of years. Four parts from one piece of material reduces the number of parts handled by the operator by 75%. Also palletised to run on multiple CNC mills simultaneously, providing sprint capability as demand fluctuated. The parts had critical tolerances down to 50 microns, and being an iconic brand identifier there are aesthetic qualities to meet the high end film/TV user’s expectations.
